Go Irving Swimmers!
Irving Swimmers ANNUAL YARD SALE announced
Irving Swimmers Board of Directors has announced plans for its next major fund-raiser. The Annual Yard
Sale will be held Saturday, May 17, 702 Canal Street Irving TX 75063, Cecil David's home. The event, which
runs from 6:30AM to 12:00. "We'll have to volunteer shifts for parents to help with," reported Cecil David.
"The early shift is 6:30 to 9:30 and will be the setup crew. The late shift will be 9:30 to 12:00 and will be
the clean-up shift." Send an email to Cecil with your preference or contact her or Karen Valteau-Williams at
the pool.
Please clean out closets, cabinets, toy boxes and garage. Ask friends and relatives to donate items.
Bring your donated items to the cage marked yard sale beginning Monday April 14, 2008. Lukasz Gagulski
will be picking up the items and storing items at his home until the yard sale.
"One man's trash is another man's treasure," Valteau-Williams said. "Bring your trash and pick up some
treasures."
IS Board releases new event schedule
Irving Swimmers Board of Directors released the team event schedule
through July so that all swimmers and parents could plan their calendars. Events
listed below are also posted at the pool and details will be posted prior to a
scheduled event with more information. Parents should check the bulletin board regularly.

Board announces changes to fee structures
The Board of Directors has completed an examination of swim club dues across North Texas
and made the following changes to Irving Swimmers. "In order to provide our swimmers with an
exciting new opportunities and events, the Board has unanimously agreed to increase swim
dues," reported Karen Valteau-Williams, team President. "IS has not had a rate increase for
Age Group swimmers since late 2004." New rates go into effect April 1, 2008 and require a
new quarterly fee payment.
New monthly rates for the various teams follow:
Pre-Competitive...........$45
Bronze...........................$55
Silver.............................$65
Senior Development...$75
Senior............................$85
Masters.........................$55
The next payments for all swimmers begins April 1 to cover April, May and June.
Payments are due by the 10th of the 1st month of each quarter, according to the
following schedule:
January, February, March...............Due January 10th
April, May, June...............................Due April 10th
July, August, September.................Due July 10th
October, November, December.......Due October 10th
Dues paid after the 10th of each quarter will be assessed a $10 late fee.
